Liquid orals are mostly syrups, suspensions, solutions and drops manufactured by preparing in syrupy base and blending of medicine and flavours. The medicaments are mixed in base and passed through sparklet filter for preparation of syrups, solutions and drops. In preparation of suspensions the medicaments are mixed in base and passed through colloidal mill. The bottles are filled & sealed in automatic machine and further labelled & packed as shown in the picture.

Syrup Preparation
Syrup is prepared separately by using sucrose, demineralised water and heated with steam of boiler. Later on the syrup is transferred to the blending vessel.

Blending of Liquid
Syrups are transferred from syrup preparation vessel to blending vessel. The medicaments are dissolved in DM water or in solvent and added in the blending vessel and the volume are made up accordingly. The flavours and alcohol are also added and thereafter the blended liquid is sent for filteration before filling.

Liquid filling & sealing
The picture shows the volumetric filling, capping and sealing of liquid in glass bottles or pet bottles of different shapes, colors and sizes of 10ml., 20ml., 30ml., 50ml., 60ml., 100ml., 120ml., 150ml., 200ml., 325ml. & 400ml. The bottles are visually inspected after filling and thereafter sent for labelling & packing.
